We must admit that we really like how Spanish supercar maker Tramontana does things. We loved the R’s looks which are unmatched by any other car and only Tramontana themselves seem willing and able to build on it.
Now, we are happy to inform you that they are, in fact, working on something new – an even more powerful V12 supercar, which will be called the XTR. It too will feature a V12 engine, but Mercedes-sourced V12 engine will make 188 more hp than in the R, pushing the total output to 888 hp!
Also, considering the fact that the R could do the sprint to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.6 seconds, with the extra 188 horses in the middle, we expect this to be much closer to three seconds dead, and easily surpass the old car’s top speed of ‘only’ 344 km/h (214 mph).
If you are interested, the Tramontana XTR will be launched by the end of this year, and it will set you back quite a lot – €420,000 ($514,000).
